The University of Rwanda Library Services Strategic Plan 2019-2025 outlines our commitment to transforming library services across all nine campuses, embracing digital innovation, and strengthening our role as a hub of academic excellence.
Enhance information literacy programs and support curriculum delivery across all nine campuses through innovative instructional services and learning spaces.
Strengthen research infrastructure and provide comprehensive support for researchers throughout the research lifecycle.
Modernize library systems and expand access to electronic resources through cutting-edge technology and innovative services.
Strengthen local and international collaborations for capacity building and expand community outreach programs.
Foundation Phase: Needs assessment, infrastructure upgrades, partnership development, and initial implementation of priority initiatives.
Development Phase: Expansion of digital services, implementation of new systems, staff training, and pilot programs.
Acceleration Phase: Full implementation of major initiatives, evaluation and refinement of services, scaling successful programs.
Evaluation Phase: Comprehensive assessment, impact measurement, and development of next strategic plan.
