Frequently Asked Questions

What is EZproxy?
EZproxy is a web proxy server that allows authorized users (students, faculty, and staff) to access licensed library resources from outside the university network. It works by authenticating users and then proxying their requests through the university's network.
Do I need to use EZproxy when I'm on campus?
No, when you're connected to the campus network (via WiFi, ethernet, or computer lab), access is automatic through IP recognition. You only need EZproxy when accessing from outside the university.
How long does my EZproxy session last?
Your session lasts for the duration of your browser session. If you close your browser, you'll need to log in again. Some browsers may keep you logged in longer if they restore previous sessions.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Contact the IT Help Desk or use the password reset option on the university portal. The library cannot reset your password directly.
Can I access all resources through EZproxy?
Most subscribed e-resources are accessible through EZproxy. However, some resources may have technical limitations. If you encounter a resource that doesn't work, please contact the library for assistance.
